Backyard Biodiversity

You've heard about the plight of the honeybee - a real concern, but it's a much bigger issue than you might realize. Our native bees are in serious trouble, and the biodiversity so essential to a healthy ecosystem in general is at great risk.

You can make a difference, though, right in your own backyard! Join local Master Gardeners Julie Parker Dickerson and Karen Tuininga on March 22nd for Sustainable Charlotte's upcoming Wednesday Webinar event on the topic of Backyard Biodiversity. We'll explore the issues at hand, and you'll come away with ideas for increasing the native plantings and supporting the biodiversity right in your own gardens and backyards.

The event is free, but registration is required. Click here to register for this event ~ See you there!
